EuroHedge Summit: ‘early bird’ discount ends on 28 February

February 20, 2014

The early-bird discount offer for delegates wishing to attend the EuroHedge Summit in Paris this year has only one week left to run – with the 20% discount offer due to expire on 28 February.

This year’s EuroHedge Summit, now in its 11th year, will be held this year on 29-30 April at its traditional venue at the Palais de la Bourse in Paris under the overall theme of 'Strategies for Growth’.

Europe’s largest and best-attended event in the annual hedge fund calendar, the Summit regularly draws a high-quality attendance of some 800 top investors, managers and counterparties in the global hedge fund industry.

High-calibre speakers and panellists are continuing to join the line-up for this year’s event – with Tom Sandell, founder of the 25-year-old New York and London-based international event-driven, special sits and activist manager Sandell Asset Management, also joining the roster of keynote speakers.

Sandell will join three previously announced keynote speakers: Philippe Jabre of Geneva-based Jabre Capital Partners, Davide Serra of financial sector specialist Algebris Investments and Paul Crean of emerging markets manager Finisterre Capital.

Among the many other top-tier names taking part in this year’s Summit are Marc Hotimsky of CQS, Luke Ellis of Man Group, Jacob Gottlieb of Visium Asset Management, Jack Inglis of AIMA, Gavyn Davies of Fulcrum, Diana Choyleva of Lombard Street Research and Tim Bond of Odey Asset Management.

This year’s Summit will look at the opportunities and challenges facing participants in hedge funds at a time of renewed optimism and growth across the industry – covering a range of specific strategy areas (such as long/short equity, macro, emerging markets, managed futures, credit and distressed, event-driven, activism, banking-related activities, insurance-linked strategies and other new strategy areas) as well as key business issues such as regulation, distribution, asset-raising, operations and risk management.

Much more detail will be announced on topics, speakers and the overall programme for this year’s event on our website over the coming weeks.

In addition to the early bird discount offer that lasts until the end of this month, funds that list their performance in our database can take advantage of a special 'two for one’ offer for the EuroHedge Summit this year.
