A record divorce?
October 01, 2011
There may be £150 million at stake.
Hedge fund manager Pierre Lagrange, an executive committee member at GLG-owner Man Group, is the latest financier undergoing a high-profile divorce, but his case could be unusually costly. Lagrange’s former wife, Catherine, could claim half of his reported £300 million or more fortune, which would constitute “one of the most expensive divorce settlements in British legal history,” according to the Independent. His new partner is the male fashion designer Roubi L’Roubi. Lagrange recently became chairman of Man Asia, in addition to managing GLG’s portfolios out of London.
