Hedge Funds Care to host Cocktails on the Sound

The event will take place this Thursday by the water in Stamford.

Hedge Funds Care is holding its second annual Cocktails on the Sound fundraiser in Connecticut on Thursday. The evening will once again be hosted by WR Managed Account Services and will take place at their offices at 40 Signal Road in Stamford’s Dolphin Cove from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Guests will have breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound while enjoying and hors d’oeuvres and cocktails from the open bar. Last year, the evening attracted 173 hedge fund professionals. Tickets can be purchased in advance at $150 per person, $625 for five tickets and $1,000 for ten tickets. Attendees will also be able to purchase tickets at the door.

Rob Davis founded Hedge Funds Care in 1998 to help prevent and treat child abuse. He held the first Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit in New York in February of 1999. Since then Hedge Funds Care has awarded over 650 grants totaling $23 million. Grants are awarded to local groups that provide education, prevention services, treatment, research and advocacy to improve child welfare.
