Hedge fund attorney Christopher Paige hopes to trade his position within the tarnished world of hedge funds for one in the equally blemished world of politics. The general counsel for hedge fund firm Paige Capital Management, a distressed debt firm launched by his wife and sister-in-law, Paige has his sights set on a Republican seat in Congress. The Pennsylvania resident and lifelong Democrat, who switched parties to run, is hoping a Congressional seat will enable him to help end corporate bailouts and improve the image of hedge funds. He is targeting hedge funds as a major funding source for his campaign.
