Blackstone preps second seeding fund

Blackstone is taking full advantage of the hedge fund investment drought to increase its stake in the industry. Under J. Tomilson Hill, Blackstone's president and chief executive officer, Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, the firm's $28 billion fund of funds unit, is preparing to launch a second seeding fund.
